Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself ... What will happen when the secret corners of the forest are heavy with the scent of many men ... The end of living and the beginning of survival. –Chief Seattle

Locations

We run our courses from two sites in Essex, each with its own unique character giving students the chance to experience bushcraft in different environments:

Kelvedon Hatch (part of the Secret Nuclear Bunker estate) is a private semi ancient woodland of some 20 acres, with two lakes and surrounding fields this provides a safe and secluded site.

National Trust Hatfield Forest extends over 424 Hectares and has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). It was declared a Forest, in the early 12th century, when Fallow Deer were introduced and it was part of the great Forest of Essex and has remained an oasis of wildlife in northwest Essex.
